Educational programs for kids are often found on Mac or PC, so it's a bit of a surprise to stumble upon TotTutor. This program gives you 5 different lessons by which you can help your children learn.

The whole interface, particularly the main menu, is well organized and each of the games features big colored icons to grab the attention of your child.

TotTutor is best used by assisting your child, first because you don't want him to mess around with your Palm, and most importantly, to guide him in the different exercises.

We suggest alternating the different lessons to keep your child from getting bored. Lessons with directions and sizes are probably the most difficult ones, but overall the 5 different ones on hand should prove quite handy.

TotTutor is an educational program for the PalmPilot that is designed for 1-on-1 interactive learning between a parent and child (or an older child and younger child).

TotTutor has 5 different lessons:

Directions

Teaches the concepts of left, right, up, down, and middle.

Letters

Teaches the upper and lower case letters of the English alphabet.

Letters can be presented randomly or in order.

Numbers

Teaches the numbers from 1 to 10 (or higher, and 0). Numbers can be presented randomly or in order.

Shapes

Teaches the basic shapes starting with the triangle, square, and circle.

Sizes

Teaches the concepts of smaller and larger.
